AEISAD 2024 Congress Presentation
The XVII International Congress of the Spanish Association of Social Research Applied to Sport (AEISAD) "Exploring the new challenges of sport from a social perspective" will be held on 3 and 4 October 2024 at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Seville. It is aimed at researchers, professionals and entities in the area of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. It is an event organised by the Department of Physical Education and Sport and the Faculty of Education Sciences of the aforementioned University, by the AEISAD, and the research groups "Inclusión Social, Educación Física y Deporte, y Políticas Europeas en investigación" (INEFYD) and "Gestión e innovación en Servicios Deportivos, Ocio y Recreación" (GISDOR).
Throughout the two days there will be plenary lectures, expert round tables, practical research workshops and scientific communications. This congress covers five thematic areas related to Physical Activity and Sport Sciences: physical education, society and sport, tourism and leisure, sport management and dual career. The aim of the event is to promote the exchange of information among participants through the dissemination of the latest scientific advances in the field.
